As a human first, Izzy uses dance as a mechanism to release. Whether it's tension, joy, stress… dance is and always has been a ritual to liberate herself from the confines of reality and truly feel the freedom that one can experience in the physical realm. The ability to explore and touch the skin on our bodies, and the ground beneath our feet is such a gift, and Izzy believes it is a big reason why she came into this world. Studying the relationship between movement, music, and story is what she aims to achieve in the pieces she choreographs, and as an artist her goal is to marry each of these concepts into  cohesive bodies of work.
